My Fitbit Versa is displaying the wrong time, it's working correctly in every other way, it's counting my steps, sleep, I'm getting notifications. I've tried restarting the watch 3 times. It seems to be syncing, what do I need to do? Has anyone else had the same issue?
Thanks in anticipation,
Cx

Hello everyone. For all of you who are new to the Fitbit community, welcome.
Thanks to all for the efforts to resolve the issue, sharing the solutions and steps you've tried. I understand that this can be very frustrating, your feedback and comments are greatly appreciated. Time on your watch should be corrected when you sync it. If you're experiencing difficulties with syncing, please try our tips in this help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? Welcome to the Community @CMacca33, @Katekippa it's great to see you here and @SteveH thanks for stopping by.
When a Fitbit is showing the wrong time is because it isn't syncing as it should. Are you confirming that your devices are syncing? You can follow the instructions provide in the help article Why won't my Fitbit device sync?.
Also check that your phone's timezone settings are correct and then try to change the time directly from the Fitbit app by following the steps in the article How do I change the time on my Fitbit device?.
Let me know how it goes.

Hi - I am having the same issue over the past few data. When it does sync - it gradually starts losing time for example since 20:00 hours this evening - it has lost 16 minutes. Also on my run this evening it paused after 13 minutes & would not restart - very frustrating.

How do you do a factory reset?

I would not recommend a factory reset. I did & my Fitbit Versa went blank!. Can’t switch it on. Sent an email to customer services & they wanted to know what clock face it had- don’t quite see the connection. They then wanted a photo of the watch which I sent with blank screen - heard nothing since & thats 2 weeks ago. Would never recommend Fitbit - very bad service.

If you call Fitbit they have excellent customer service. Never have tried to email them. Have phoned them numerous times. They will do about anything to make a customer happy.

Hi @Duvel, welcome to the Fitbit forums. Please apologize the delay in our answer. Thank you for the factory reset your performed and for your feedback regarding support. I got in contact with them, and they confirmed that unfortunately they didn't receive your last response. In order for them to keep working on your case, I kindly ask you to reply to the last email you received from them.
@Katekippa please apologize the delay in our answer. Thank you for the tip.
@DemiGeek Please apologize the delay in our answer. In order to perform a factory reset you should follow these steps: On Versa, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset. After that you will have to pair it again: How do I set up my Fitbit device?

I am getting truly frustrated. I have had 3 different Fitbits and never have had the trouble I have had the past 3 days. Spent $225 on this thing and can't even use it. I have unpaired blue tooth, force stopped fitbit app, restarted phone and all of that. I have tried uninstalling fitbit app and reinstalling. I have finally reset to Factory settings and now nothing. It syncs to app fine, just wont connect to do the update. I have tried bluetooth and wifi.

Hi. I had this same issue last year and after exhausting all other avenues Fitbit sent me out a new one. The new one has been working fine until the beginning of this month when it has started doing the same all over again. When I sync my Fitbit the correct time is displayed but gradually loses time as the day goes on. I’ve even tried keeping the app open all day but it still loses time. Is this an issue with the software or manufacturing? Either way it’s extremely frustrating!!

My time is off by 1 hour. It was working fine until I charged it last night. How do I fix this? This is the 1st time I've had any issue with it. I have had it a year and been very happy with it.

Did you figure out what was wrong with yours? Mine is doing the same thing. It says it is in the correct time zone but it is one hour ahead of the correct time. The time on my phone is correct. The location on the watch is correct when I look at the weather app portion. Everything looks correct until I look at the time on the face of the watch. I have restarted and done all of the other things. Wasnt sure if I should try the factory reset or not.

My Fitbit Versa is not keeping the correct time during the night. I have tried all the suggestions listed as well. It's very frustrating to not have it work properly because I miss the alarms. This morning I woke at 6:30 and checked my Fitbit. It said 2:37. That's approximately 4 hours off. Everything was working fine until 10 days ago. It seems to be fine during the day although I don't trust it. Wish I knew what to do to fix this issue.
