Everytime I ride my motorcycle versa records steps and floors climbed.
Before each ride I turn it off. For some reason it doesn't stay off. For example.... today.... Before I started my ride i turned it off. When I arrived it was on and had recorded 14k steps and 210 floors climbed....
is there a way to prevent this from happening (versa turning on by itself) or to delete the extra steps and floors?

My guess is that a button is getting pressed .
How do I edit or delete Fitbit data and activities?

Sorry... button wasn't being pressed.... I had the versa in a pouch im my saddlebag..... and it still turned itself on.... not nice
Tried drivebit before... sorry but this is not an acceptable solution.... it would be a lot easier if it just stayed off.
Is there some kind of "feature" that detects movement and switches the versa on?

Not to my knowledge, if there was, I would suspect that many would receive the tracker on when they first purchased .

Hello Rich,
help me out here... here are a couple of screen shot from that particular day.... both floors and steps... how do I get rid of them? I have tried deleting the "outdoor bike" activity and renaming it as "driving". The totals didn't change.... I still have 405 floors in one day. It is easier to see the glitch on the floors screen shot.... I can see 8 floors climbed, but the total shows 405.....

Can someone from fitbit comment on the graphs I posted before? Still having issues.

If you hold your finger on the spike, it will tell you the time. This time must fall within the period that is marked as driving. Rember to tap on the pop-up or you will be creating a new type of event.

Rich, take a look at the floors dashboard..... where did the 405 floors listed in the total below the graph came from? I can only see 10 in the graph.
There seems to be something wrong with the data.
