Versa heart rate information inaccurate

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Fitbit Versa heart rate monitor has never worked properly. When I drive a car it goes from about 72 to 140bpm in a few minutes... it just starts so go crazy on it's own. Every time I drive a car. It's also always inaccurate when exercising. I can go for a slow walk and it says 130bpm when it's actually 85bpm. (I use a finger device to check the bpm.) If I go for a bike ride it shows 90bpm when my actual bpm is 130... I'm going crazy and have to turn the heart rate off when driving and exercising. This is a Fitbit right.

It shouldnt be like that! Try restarting your Versa several times. If that doesnt fix the HR issue, try a factory reset (settings app on phone and scroll down to About). If that doesnt fixmit you will need to contact Support (link in my signature)

Restart your tracker

The inaccurate heart rate has been a problem from the release in Mid-April.  Fitbit still hasn't addressed it.  They just refer you to a page about how to wear it.  Seriously.  I'm so disappointed.

This is the same reply I received about 3 months ago. Guess it's not a priority for them since it's not fixed yet. And this is a fitness tracker right..... grrrr. Right now it's an expensive pedometer with a fancy screen.
