Versa is freezing

My Versa keeps freezing. It will lock up for hours at a time. It gets stuck on the Fitbit logo. I've only had this for two weeks so I am very disappointed after switching from the Apple Watch.

I am sorry to hear about the freezing issue you are experiencing with your Versa and would like to know if you have tried to restart it? If you haven't, I recommend restarting your watch by doing the following:

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.

After this process, test it and let me know how it goes. Smiley Wink

It's not working?? It let's me use the buttons but the touch screen is frozen.

Just bought my fitbit versa and i have the same issue with the versa logo freezes and cannot shut it down. Thank God i have 30 days to return it!!! No more fitbit for me.

What do you do if your Fitbit versa only has one button (on the left). How do you restart it?

 

My Fitbit is frozen on the sports screen and won't let me get out of this. It's been like this for 24 hours. Very disappointed. What do i do??

Same with my wife’s Versa, had it for 3weeks and the nonsense started. If you’re looking for a wearable that only lasts half a day (with phone calls, heart rate and notifications off) freezes constantly, then you should go for the fitbit versa, worst purchase of my life!

 

Should’ve gone for the Apple watch series 4.

 

Huge regret...

 

Will never buy a fitbit product ever again in my life!

Mine keeps freezing and .y husband's also. Reboot doesn't work.

Same for me. I have tried the factory reset and after 3 whole minutes with customer service they said there's nothing they can do. It happened just as the 1 year warranty ended, so they told me to essentially trash my device and buy a new one! 
Definitely NOT buying a Fitbit again.

That's ridiculous. I never had this issue with my simpler Fitbit. I feel
this is related to versa only.

I got in contact with customer service via chat on Fitbit. I showed I
exhausted all my efforts of fixing this with resetting and rebooting.
Clearly there is an issue with the sensitivity of the screen. My watch was
still under warranty so they sent me a replacement. They sent a versa2
because the original versa is no longer available. I think they know there
is an issue with the original versa if you ask me.

I'm good now until it breaks again, then I will be SOL.

I feel the same.  I haven’t had it long and I never had to reset the Apple Watch.  I should not have to pull reset tricks daily for something I purchased.

I am having this exact problem and I don’t want an escalation. I need my Fitbit replaced.  I don’t feel I should have to keep resetting every day.

I finally gave up on Fitbit and went with Apple Watch. I kept going through that problem every year. Which is sad cause I loved Fitbit better for working out.

Hello, don’t bother searching for a solution. I believe this is a screen issue that cannot be fixed (but replaced in case yours is still under warranty). I am not using my versa anymore.
