Just wondering how this can accurately count my steps. I'm a grocery clerk who is in the check stand all day scanning groceries. The last two days my watch has told me I've taken over 9,000 steps and walked over 4 miles. I know that's B.S. because. Any tips on a better way to wear my watch so it isn't counting a step every time I scan a grocery item? I have no idea how it can say I've walked over 4 miles to? Please help me understand this Fit Bit and get better use out of it.

Hi @SunsetRunner, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa tracked a high amount of steps and miles. I totally understand how frustrating this is.
Please restart your Versa as described in this help article. After this, check out this help page which explains why your Fitbit device may count extra steps.
Finally, monitor your watch for the next 24 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.
Keep me posted on the outcome.
