Won't properly track anything.  Stopped today in the middle of the day and has a different time zone displayed.  tried a factory reset and now it displays only Chinese symbols.

Hi, after a Factory Reset, it's mandatory that you repeat the setup procedure with your phone all over again as it's acting like a new Versa. How to setup your Versa after a Factory Reset, read this article by clicking the link.

@Versabites Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Versa is not tracking your stats properly and the screen displays Chinese symbols. Thank you for trying the factory reset process before contacting our forums.

If you haven't done so, please restart your Versa as described in this help article. This will refresh your tracker internally. This is also a different procedure from the factory reset. Finally, set up your Versa from scratch and see if the issue gets fixed.

Thank you so much for your help @SunsetRunner!

No joy!  Tried the steps you indicated (bottom button and back button for 10 seconds), and I still get the Download fitbit app message and all the other languages. Of course, since I can't get it to start for me to get to the Settings, I can't do the other step.  Spent over an hour on the phone with customer service, and they gave up too and are going to send me a replacement.  Thanks for giving it a shot.  For now, I am back to my Charge 2 "old Faithful"
