Hi @sharondc - it is probably not syncing. As a first step at least restart the watch and the phone and see Why won't my Fitbit device sync? if that is an issue.
Normally each time the watch syncs the time is set correctly.

Hi there, @sharondc. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa.
Keep in mind that your Versa may show the wrong date and time if it hasn't synced or has been unpaired from your Fitbit account. Your Fitbit grabs the time of the device you're syncing with.
To see when was the last time your watch synced or to check if it's still paired to your Fitbit account, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image.

Also, note that the time on your Fitbit Versa may be wrong after you travel to a different time zone or when clocks change for Daylight Savings. If you changed time zones and the time on your Versa is still incorrect after syncing, make sure the time zone setting is correct. For more information, see How do I fix the time on my Fitbit device?

Sorry Guy, not sure but I haven’t been sincing my Fitbit on a regular basis recently so it may have been there for a wee bit. I’ve been having issues with screen fade as well as the time. Screen fade is still an issue but I did run an update for my versa lite, through the app and it fixed the date issue.
have to admit that while I love my fitbits and have been wearing them for nearly 10 years, I get sick of the fact that they just don’t last and are not cheap
