Versa keeps crashing

Hi,

I have had my versa for almost 3 months and it was working fine untill 3 weeks ago when it wouldn't sync with my phone after 4 times starting a sync. Now last night it stopped tracking my workout after 2 minutes and it started to restart itself every 3 minutes.

I have tried training it off and on, reinstalling the app,  resetting to factory settings but now it's stuck on data not cleared, try again. It won't even turn off any more..

Go into your phones Bluetooth settings and unpair the Versa from there, then go back into the fitbit app and set up a device - Versa and try the set up process again. That should hopefully get rid of the error message.

@JenniferZwartho Try performing hard reset by holding all buttons at the same time until Fitbit logo flashes. When the logo disappears release the bottom right button and keep pressing the left and top right buttons until you feel strong vibration. This may take a while. Release the buttons. Sometimes it may take a while for factory reset to complete. Good luck!

Thank you for the suggestion,

But when I try to set it up, it says connection found. But then restarts the setup process and says it's not working. The versa is on 100% batery

@JenniferZwartho Remove versa from your account in the Fitbit mobile app and forget it from your phone Bluetooth settings. Then perform 3 button factory reset.

@Marrrmaduke I tried, but it keeps restarting to data not cleared sync and try again.

If you haven't already done so, try restarting your phone and then try the process again.

Also turn off any other Bluetooth devices which may be trying to connect or interfere with the Versa.

@JenniferZwartho Let's try this:

1. Versa removed from account

2. Double check that Versa has been removed from phone Bluetooth settings

3. Log out from Fitbit mobile app

4. Turn off Bluetooth

5. Reboot your phone

6. Turn on Bluetooth but do not pair versa in phone settings

7. Reboot versa by pressing and holding left and bottom right buttons

8. Open Fitbit app, log in and add new device.

9. If can't connect to versa, reboot versa again.

@Marrrmaduke and @N8teGee I have tried everything 3 times, still no luck. I have sent an email to costumer service.

I think that's the best thing to do in this case, seeing as you've exhausted all of the troubleshooting steps.

I hope you get a quick resolution.
