Versa keeps restarting by itself

I do not know if anybody else is having the same issue, but when I went in to update the software for my Versa and kept restarting and it have been 4 hours by now and it still is only showing the Fitbit logo, and the app says no devise when I go to sync it. Any ideas?

Hi @JohnL1010, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.

I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa since the firmware won't finish the update and it just keeps restarting.

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. After this, try setting up your watch from scratch.

Finally, update the firmware update as instructed in this article and see if the issues get fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

I tried the factory reset, did everything like you said, and it told me that I needed to sync and try again, but on my Fitbit app, it says no devise found. Am I doing the wrong sync?

Thank you,
John Lee

@JuanJoFitbit  Our Aria 2 is also now not reading body fat % .. we see this is a wide issue among users. Have tried 1) stepping on 10 times in a row 2) resetting Up from scratch and still having issues. Please

escalate our case to costumer service for help. saramcates@yahoo.com

Hi @SMAGshley, thank you for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Aria 2 is not providing body fat readings either. I totally understand how you feel about this.

Before I forward your case, I'd just like to know one more detail. Did you weigh yourself barefoot?

Looking forward to your response.
