Versa language issues

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

After this morning/yesterdays update my Versa is now been displayed in Dutch, however my language is set to English and the option in the dashboards is Nederland (Engels). The application is in English.

I have tried resetting the tracker, did the take off automatic detection of location and selected Nederland (Engels) and the tracker stays in Dutch. I changed the language to the United Kingdom and the tracker language changes to English.

I have also reset the tracker to default setting and still reverts to Dutch. Please revert this change to use Nederland (Engels) and have the tracker and application to be in English.

Please stop breaking things that work!

It's great to see you around @MissDragoness.

Thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself. If you are having issues with your watch's language, I recommend taking a look at the help article How do I change my language on Fitbit? and follow the instructions provide there. Please make sure that the device you are using to sync have the language you want to have in your Versa.

Let me know the outcome. Smiley Happy

I have trouble shooted this and followed the page. However like I said in my post if I change it to Nederlands (Engles) the app is in English but my Versa is in Dutch and this is only since the last update!

This is still not working. No it doesn’t work with changing my location as my location is correct.

The problem is that in the last update a version of the firmware was updated to Dutch for the Netherlands and the English version for Netherlands was removed. Fix this now please

Today (Christmas) I also got a new versa. I have done the exact same thing as everyone has said above. This is still happening. I like in Netherlands but want my versa in English. But with I selecte Netherlands (Engels) it makes the versa in Dutch. So for now I have to set this to the UK. So this hasn’t been fixed since May 2018?

Hi,

I bought the Versa today and I am having the exact same issue. The App is set to Nederland (Engels), Meaning Netherlands (English), but the language on the Versa device is still on Dutch. Followed all the recommended steps on this post and the issue still exists. Please provide an update as to when this will be resolved by Fitbit, since it's obviously a bug.

Got mine today and the same thing exists, have set the location to UK as of now! Hope they fix this soon or seperate the language and country in the settings. I don't know why lot of softwares seem to link a language to a country!

If no one got the fix yet: you need to check your language / location (country) settings in the iOS / Android app as well as on the Fitbit (Dashboard) website.

I got Dutch in the app, but English on the website and my Versa was in English.
I changed the language on the website to Dutch and after a sync, the Versa was also in Dutch.

I'm sure if you set both (the app and website) to the desired language, the Versa will also reflect the correct one.

This isn’t the issue the issue is if you have English on the website and select Netherlands as the county it defaults the Language to Dutch. It used to have English and Dutch as language selection. Well that was the issue.
