Versa left button not working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Last night my versa started vibrating and was stuck in the settings screen for backlight and auto wake (I think that’s where it was). Restarted numerous times. Worked for a few hours. Now the back button (left side) doesn’t work. Have restarted and done factory reset. Have current software version and have updated the iPhone app.  Watch is less than 3 weeks old. Feel like a bought a piece of junk.

Welcome to the Community @Nate1234 and @ACG thanks for the input.

I appreciate all the efforts in trying to fix the button issue you are experiencing. Before contacting support, you may be able to remove dust or dirt by gently using a toothpick around the button. If this does not improve the button performance, you can try to clear debris using canned air. Hold the tracker at arm's length and spray once to loosen any dirt or dust that may have accumulated around the button.

I hope this helps, let me know the outcome. Smiley Happy

Here is what ended up happening. Fitbit sent me a replacement tracker. It never arrived at my house. So I asked Fitbit for my money back. They initially refused saying I was outside of the 45 day money back return period, which starts the day you order. I pointed out to them that I had the Fitbit in my possession for less than 30 days, and the 45 day return period expired while I was waiting for them to ship me a new Fitbit. They eventually agreed to refund my money. After reading lots of other people’s comments on this device, it seems it was released before it was ready. Lots of problems with GPS and screens going black.

Same thing happened to me. Mine was almost a year old. Call the company. They replaced mine. 🙂

Whoops, sorry. I didn't read your last post. Mine arrived in less then a week and is great. Way better then the original I pre-ordered. I think they have worked out the bugs.
