My charge 2 broke recently and I was looking at the ionic with the 25% off coupon from costumer service, it would be $225. putting it around the same price as the special edition versa. But after looking at the forums it seems like there is a ton of issues with the ionic. Are there alot of the same problems with the versa? Has the newer versa worked out the issues?

I’m struggling with a similar situation. My Blaze stopped working. I bought the new special edition Versa last week. I’m disappointed with the Versa and I’m ready to exchange it for something else. I don’t know if I should exchange it for the Ionic, another Blaze, or go to the Apple Watch. I’m eager to hear from others about what to purchase

I do not feel the vibration on my wrist for the alarms. I’m not receiving notifications for texts and calls. The notifications come through on Versa, but I have to manually swipe down on the face to read the texts/calls that I missed, rather than the notifications coming through real time and showing up on the face/vibrating when they happen

Hi there @AWZ1287 and welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community @Annette513.
I was reading that both of you are hesitant to get a Fitbit Versa, due to different factors that are completely understandable.
@AWZ1287 Versa and Ionic are in some way identical as both have the same Fitbit OS, with some variations based on the features each tracker includes. We have make sure to test extensively the Fitbit Versa to offer the best experience to our users, however we cannot avoid bugs or glitches that will appear along the life cycle of our products. I can guarantee many of the issues reported here in the Community are already under review to have future fixes whatsoever.
@Annette513, I know you have experiencing some issues with the vibration of your Versa, as it seems is not strong enough. In your case, I would like to recommend to review the vibration settings of your Versa. In your Versa settings app, go to vibration and change to between Normal to Strong to see if this helps.
If the issue persists, try to perform a restart: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
I'm not so sure if the notifications are working or not, so if you are having troubles to receive notifications specifically, this other help article will give you some insight:My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone.
Hope this helps but the decision to keep or buy a Versa is entirely yours. We definitely see this as a feedback opportunity.

I have owned the Fitbit Versa for two weeks. I love the screen size, and features. Unfortunately, it stopped tracking/syncing on my phone app. I have spent hours following all the suggestions on loading and reloading. After spending 200 dollars on a product that I should be able to put on and use appropriately, I can’t help but be extremely disappointed and frustrated. My Versa is getting sent back !
