When I get up in the morning and weigh myself and enter my weight on my Versa Lite, it logs it incorrectly as some random number about 215 lbs. heavier than the number I entered and even includes a number after the decimal point. This happens every day, and I think it began after the recent firmware update, although I'm not sure. Luckily, I can correct the weight on the Fitbit app on my phone, but obviously, that's a minor inconvenience.

Hi @mbnek, welcome to the Community Forums!
Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for correcting the error too, your patience with this inconvenience is appreciated. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device are you using to use the weight log feature? When was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then? Are you able to put the decimal point but when the information is logged it's completely different? If you haven't already done so, please try the following steps to restart your Versa Lite:
Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.

Hi Ricardo,
I'm using a Samsung SM-J727V Android phone.
The problem has been happening for a week or two. It happens every morning.
There is no way to add a decimal point on my Versa Lite.
I just restarted it. Let's see how it works tomorrow morning when I try to enter my weight.
Thanks.

I can confirm I am having the same problem on my Versa 2. Unfortunately, the suggested instructions did not resolve the problem.

Hi @zbunyard,
It seemed like the suggestions @RicardoFitbit gave worked at first, but then after two days, not only did they stop working, the weights that at first seemed to be correct, changed to the wrong weights.
Also @RicardoFitbit: I got something wrong in my previous response: It is possible to enter a decimal point on my Versa Lite, but I never do it.
To be honest, I'm a bit surprised at the number of bugs with my Versa Lite. Another function that doesn't work well at all is the control of Spotify. Perhaps I'll start another thread about this.

@RicardoFitbit What is our next course of action? What else can we do or when might there be a software update to resolve this issue? I only got my Versa 2 a week ago, and this has been occurring since day 1.

I
I have a Versa 2 for about two weeks. I log my weight in as 225. Pounds. The app registers it as 496 pounds. I went from having to lose 81 pounds to 351 in one day. Also the water logs in incorrectly. Ounces logging into the Fitbit get converted to millimeters. I am using an iPad. I am manually changing each weight and water entry in the app, which makes the Fitbit useless to tracking water and weight. I tried to: reset the Fitbit twice, Hold the left button for 10 seconds, reinstall the app twice and upgrade to IOS 12.4.4..with luck.

@Redyder I wasn't sure if this was the correct place to note the issues logging water, but I see the same behavior. I'm using the Android app (Samsung Galaxy S8).

I’m having the same issue with my Versa 2. I received it less than a month ago and use an iPhone. I did the initial set-up update and one more since 12/2.

Hi @RicardoFitbit,
Now my Versa Lite won't upload weights at all, even the incorrect ones. In fact, I'm finding that the bluetooth and syncing function in general is flaky. Not only is it very unstable controlling wireless speakers with Spotify, it doesn't necessarily sync with my calendar either. I'll sync it first thing in the morning, and when I check the calendar, it doesn't have tomorrow's events and tells me it hasn't been synced since the day before.

I have an original Versa and started having the same issue around Dec. 14th. I have restarted both my versa and phone since that usually fixes things. It did not work. I am also using a Samsung android phone.
This was extremely helpful when it worked. My old fitbit scales quit working. Now when I weigh myself I don't always have my phone handy to log it. Please fix this glitch, I really do love my Fitbit.

Has anyone found a solution to the weight and water syncing issue? It appears to me that it is converting pounds to another unit of measure but all of my settings are in pounds (similar issue with ounces for the water). The reason I upgraded to the Versa Lite was for the weight and water function...

Having the same issue...
The watch changes ounces to millimeters and pounds to kilograms.
you should email the Fitbit staff.

I am having the small issue since getting my FitBit Lite. FitBit PLEASE fix this or we can just go with another step monitoring device if you cannot. You have been silent on this issue and I hope that means you are fixing the issue.

Hi @RicardoFitbit,
You've been silent ever since suggesting a solution/fix that doesn't work. Is FitBit working on this problem?
