My versa lite has a red cross on the screen and says 'data not cleared, sync and try again' However it will not sync. I have a samsung S8 phone. My other fitbit is perfectly fine. Please can someone help?

I only purchased a Versa lite last friday. worked fine at first, not able to sync since tuesday evening. tracking my steps on the fitbit itself, no sleep or active minutes are being tracked. been using different fitbit products for over 6 years. really not happy with this one. will bring it back to the shop for a refund
