Hello,
I have been using the Fitbit Versa for a couple of months now and was very happy with the exercise mode where I can track my Runs and Swims. But for the last few days my Versa seems to be loosing GPS connectivity very often. And this has been happening very consistently for the last 4 to 5 days.
I will remain connected for about a 1.5 kms and then the connectivity would be lost. It just shows as Connecting on the watch face. I have paired my Versa with a Pixel 2 running on Oreo 8.1. When the connectivity is lost the app on the device is running and has not crashed.
Anyone facing similar issues ? There hasn't been an update to the Fitbit OS in the last few days, so just wondering what is happening? Anyone else facing the same issues?

Hey @vkjain, it's great to see you around.
Keep in mind that in order to have a successful connection between your watch and phone, it needs to be a compatible mobile device. Please click here to see our list of compatible mobile devices.
When a phone isn't compatible, it doesn't mean that it won't work with your Fitbit but you might experience some connectivity issues. You can always try the instructions provide in the help article Why isn't GPS working on my Fitbit device? but I don't guarantee it will work 100%.
Catch you later.

Same issue here. It started with Version 2.75 of the FitBit App.

Mine has lost connectivity completely for a week or more..
and i got frustrated and tried all kind of stuff
today.. it worked.. the only thing i changed was that in bluetooth for headset..
i set it up to pair.. and left it like that
since then.. i have had connectivity.. i went for a run this morning.. took about 40 sec before i saw connect.. lost it about 30 sec but reconnected right away.. and stayed connected the whole run
This whole watch is screwed up.. and each time they try to fix something they introduce new bugs.. so its a constant struggle to keep the watch going..
I wish i had never updated from my charge 2..

You should try tightening it

It is a bit surprising to not see the latest device from Google - Pixel 2 not listed in your device compatibility list.
Also the GPS connectivity was working absolutely fine for the last 2 months but last one week has been problematic.
So it has to be some update on the app which is causing this issue and it seems there are others also facing the same issue. Hope you take this up on a priority basis.
