Versa loses steps

My new Versa loses steps!  I bought it at the end of December and started using it this week.  I hit 10K steps two days in a row and within minutes after hitting my goal it lost over 500 steps both days.  I've rebooted the app and done the recommended fixes.  What can I do?  This is disheartening, at best.

Hi, are you using by any chance a Third Party Clock Face and if yes, would you be so kind to send me the name of that Face, cause some of the Faces are not fully compatible with the new Firmware version and could cause the problem you describe.

It’s the Floral clock face by Fitbit

Hi, this Clock Face is not one of Fitbit's one but indeed a Third Party Clock Face (btw, it's size is huge 1.14 mB - how long last your battery whith such a clock face). Back to your problem: install a Clock Face made by Fitbit itself ( "Layers" for the Versa as default and "Light" for the Versa SE) and after having done that restart your Versa and see if the problem is solved. Sometimes it's even possible after that, to reinstall your Floral clock face again without any problems. I only advice this when you're "addicted" to your Clock Face.

I will change the clock face and see if that helps but the Floral clock face falls under "Fitbit clocks" in the app.

Yes you're right about that, but it's in not in the category of Fitbit developed ones, but in another category and you have to pay for it. All Fitbit developed Clock Faces are for free.
