Versa malfunctioning

My Versa is malfunctioning. It keeps adding calories burned even when I hadn't even got out of bed yet! I take it off when I get home in the evenings. Also it shows insane minutes exercised. 

What can I do to fix this? I bought it 2 months ago.

@Versavested Welcome to the forum! 😊 It is normal to see calories burned even if you don't exercise. Those are associated with your BMR and used by your body to support basic functions of your heart, brain, kidneys, etc. Now, about insane minutes, could you please elaborate? Or even better, post a screenshot?

I understand that @Marrrmaduke. But I thought that should happen when I wear the device. The calories it shows I'm burning can be seen first thing in the morning when I haven't even worn the device yet! Is this normal? I'm seeing it as a malfunction because it never did it before, until 2 days ago.

@Versavested It's normal. This data is calculated by Fitbit on their servers then synced to your Fitbit mobile app which in turn syncs to your Versa. BMR doesn't change. The calculation is based on various parameters such as your age, gender etc. 😊

@Versavested no. It's all gets synced all the time. I wake up to the calories burned too. 😊
