I had the Fitbit Surge since it first came out and I never had any issues with it. I wanted the upgrade because I wanted to be able to wear it in the water during the summer. I got the watch two days ago and ran with it twice, and both times the mileage was off by .8 miles. When is there going to be an update to get this fixed, or is it an issue that can't be fixed? Please help!

I am having the same issue. I ran today with both my iwatch and my versa and found that the mileage was off by a little over a mile. I reached out to customer service yesterday morning and the tech acted like it was perfectly normal for a 5’9” woman who had 6k steps to only have walked 2.3 miles.. this needs to be fixed or I am sending this back and upgrading to the iwatch 3

I’ve been keeping track of how many I’ve gone when I reach 21120 steps. That’s is how many I need to do to reach 10 mikes with a 30” step. I’ve done this for a week. I’ve gone anywhere from 9.62 to 10.07 miles

I just got off the phone with support and was told to manually adjust my stride... I am a little irritated by this reply. I fail to understand how my iWatch which is about 300 steps different than my Versa can calculate my milage at 2.67, while the Versa only sees it as being 1.38, while the treadmill that I was jogging on saw it as 2.81. I can accept some deviation, but this is just crazy..

I am wondering if you got any resolution?? I recently switched from a Tracker to Versa. The miles/step is way off. I went from approx 22,000= 10 miles to 28,000 = 10 miles with the Versa. I am ready to box it up and send it back!
Thanks
