Hi,
I have used my Fitbit Versa Lite 2 since January 2020. I love it. However, this afternoon, I ran 2.5 miles and it no longer auto recognizes. I walked later tonight for about 35 minutes and again, it did not auto recognize my walk. I tried restarting and shutting down. I have the last eat version of the app and everything else seems to be OK.

I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa since it doesn't recognize your workouts and activities. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.
Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Sync your watch before this in order to avoid losing current data.
After this, check out this help article, which explains how your Fitbit device tracks your exercises. Finally, monitor your watch and see if it tracks your activities properly.
