Versa not receiving messages

Hi,

 

I have a Fitbit Versa 2, and a Huawei P30.  Since changing to the Huawei my versa is no longer receiving messages from either FB messenger, emails, or from Whatsapp which it was doing before.  I have followed the instructions on switching the watch off then on again, tried switching the phone off and on again and it still comes up as "Notification service not running, a Phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker."

It's not a big deal but it is irritating.

I have the same watch and phone and have had this problem constantly,iv already reported it too. Same message displays atleast twice a day. Have to uninstall and reinstall Fitbit app every time. Very frustrating after spending £200 on a watch 😒 hoping they finally sort it
