I received my Versa and I am really happy with it. However, yesterday I stopped receiving notifications (texts, emails etc...) I tried to enable everything again, and sync... didn't work. Anybody with the same issue? What should I do?
Thanks
Smiles 🙂

(1) Unpair other devices you have paired, even though they;re not powered on or being used.
(2) If the Versa decides to be in your list of bluetooth devices, tell it to forget. (I know you tried this, but do it anyway because the next steps will be different). If it's not on the list, don't worry about it.
(3) Turn bluetooth off.
(4) Press and hold the left button and lower right button to power down the Versa.
(5) Wait a minute and then hold down a button to turn it back on. (Hang on, the new stuff it coming now).
(6) Go to the app and after verifying that you have "always connected" and "keep-alive widget" on (which I know you've done a million times) hit the Notifications button.
(7) NOW, go to the 3 dots in the upper right corner and hit disable notifications.
(8) THEN, instead of turning the notifications back on, do each one individually.
(9) So in other words, manually turn on calls, then hit the text message button and select the program that you receive messages with. Then turn on calendar, then turn on emails and if desired whatever you want in the app notifications list).
(9) THEN go back to the 3 buttons in the upper right corner and hit "send test call notification."
This was the turning point for me. Everything worked after that. Three days of exceptional frustration over. Of course, there's no accept or reject call button which pops up, which is contrary the product information on the website.
My device: Moto G5 Plus (2017), Android 7.0 Marshmallow, Bluetooth 4.2. My phone is not listed on the compatible device list, but is now functioning properly.

Hey @sardaoa, a warm welcome to the Community and @WoodieHouse thanks for stopping by.
I appreciate the efforts in trying to fix the notifications issues you have been experiencing and would like to know if you keep having this issue? If you do, I recommend taking a look at the My Tracker isn't receiving notifications (iOS Fitbit app) post and follow the instructions provided there.
Let me know the outcome.

This worked for me,
(7) NOW, go to the 3 dots in the upper right corner and hit disable notifications.
(8) THEN, instead of turning the notifications back on, do each one individually.
Now Im receiving notifications.

I had the same problem, but my phone was in Do Not Disturb mode and Fitbit wouldn't sync notifications in DND mode.

Do you mean to unpair the versa from bluetooth?. I don't have a forget option.

For anyone still having issues after doing all of these steps, make sure on your fitbit that the notifications are set to on. Do this by holding the left button until that menu comes up and mark notifications as on. This was my issue. 😕

This worked for me, but as soon as I went on a plane and put it into airplane mode and turned my phone back on, it stopped working again 😞

Thank you for this tip. That was exactly what was going on with mine. Must've accidentally turned it off somehow.

I have been messing with this thing for days. Trying everybodies tips. I could pull down and see the notifications but wasn't getting an alert and no call alerts either. Low and behold you said, " hold the left button in and make sure the notifications is turned on" BOOM that's what it was. I feel like an idiot. I did not even know that was there. I kept going to my settings and looking. Thank you very much

@sardaoa click the link below it might help rectify your notifications. check your notifications are on by pressing and holding (until it vibrates) the button on the left of your versa. Then swipe til you see a screen that says "screen wake" and 'notification' Make sure it is switched on. If it's switched off it could be why you're not receiving notifications. hope this helps some

Thanks guys. I too had no idea there was a turn off notifications on the fitbit itself.
For others that find this thread...when they say hold down the left button, they mean on the Versa itself (not the android)
