I have an error message in red on the notification section in fitbit.
"Notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker".
I have tried this several times also restarting my versa. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app and nothing works and hasn't for around 8-10 weeks.
I had a blaze for 2 years prior to this and never had any problems, and am thinking of swapping to a Samsung.

I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate your feedback since this helps us to keep improving.
I'd like you to try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest. After this, try turning off and turn back off the notifications and see if the issue gets fixed.

hi thank you for your reply and giving me some more things to work on to try and resolve. I have tried each section a couple of times and unfortunately I still cannot get it to work. I also installed an update and this has not fixed the problems. It wasn't the 4.0 update unfortunately.
