Versa not receiving text messages

My Fitbit will not receive text messages. It receive calls, so i know my phone and watch are connected.....how do you fix this? Ive done everything possible.

I am having the same issue since yesterday. I have had my Versa for over 1 year and the texts just stopped showing on my watch yesterday as well; up until now I received calls and text notifications on my watch.  I tried reinstalling everything and still only receive call notifications. Help!!

I finally called Fitbit. They said they were having technical issues with text messages linking to Android phones. Do you have an android? Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

It took me 3 live chats and a phone call to finally get an answer. Instead of going through a whole bunch of steps and thinking the watch was defective. I've only had this watch 2 weeks. Fitbit doesn't know when it will be fixed. Fyi.Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone
