Versa not recording sleep time or patterns

I got my versa on sunday and the first night I logged it perfectly! It had how long I slept and when I was in different stages of sleep, etc., however nights since it hasn't tracked anything!

Last night I found the "start sleep" setting to see if that worked and it was clearly inaccurate as it recorded when I pushed start to when I pushed wake up (I dont ever fall asleep quickly and I woke up several times last night). Even though it recorded that time, there were still no graphs or patterns to show. When I scroll down to look at the different day graphs compared, it just shows for sunday night multiple times. I have also tried to edit the sleep time, as suggested online, but there is not edit button. Can someone help please?

A warm welcome to the Community @WhittPatt.

There are a few scenarios where you might see your sleep pattern (which shows your time asleep, restless, and awake) instead of sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

Also, if you want to edit your sleep information, you just need to follow the instructions provide in the help article How do I change my sleep history?.

Let me know how it goes. Woman Happy

This is a problem with the Versa but someone came up with a clever solution, wear a wrist band over the Versa on your wrist at night.  It worked for them and I found it worked for me.

Not optimal but it gets the job done.
