Hi guys,

I've the title says my versa isn't syncing and is losing time.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software, logging in and out of my account, rebooting the phone and watch.

Nothing is working and I've now tried a factory reset and now it won't even acknowledge the versa.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Jay.

I've tried every combination of the above...

I've looked on here and seen there's issues with android 9.

Ive followed the instructions as to how to fix it and tried all of the above again.

Just as additional... I've tried those steps in various orders.

I'm using a Razer phone 2 running android 9, can't tell you which version of the os the watch is running!

I had subversive Fitbit 2 and a Samsung Galaxy 8 plus and it having the exact same problems I don't think it's a phone problem I'm thinking it to Fitbit problems and all we're going to get is the same routine list of things to do which we've already done

Have to agree with you Criedmac.

I've now done a full factory reset.

I've tried setting it up again... a couple of times it has found the versa and given me the four digits to pair the phone and versa and then i get greeted with the usual can't connect/is your versa on etc page.

Same. When I did the factory reset on my versa it came up and said that the
data was not erased please sync so that it could be completed and of course
I can't sync so now I have a totally useless watch

So I've now tried to connect it after the factory reset via my laptop and yet again I cannot connect to the Versa.

Has anyone got any ideas?!?!?

I thought I had "made it". I uninstalled Fitbit on Phone and IPad. Then
installed on my IPad only. Reset phone (still getting message, 'data not
cleared, please sync phone now" -- which is a horrible joke since the
reason I'm resetting the phone is because it WILL NOT SYNC. Regardless the
Versa booted and the 'setup" started -- slowly (painstakingly slowly - a
Windows 10 update doesn't go THAT slowly) First time it stopped at about
14Percent -- I switched (per suggestion) from Wi-Fi (might come and go in
this hotel) to bluetooth and the bar appeared and started crawling across
the screen - my Ipad happily telling me that another 1 percent had been set
up -- The turquoise bar was about 40% across the screen (update said 42
percent installed) and BOOM - No more update -- I reset phone and now, once
again it is telling me that it could not clear it's data so pleare "sync it
now" - I'll take Versa back to a Best Buy (hope i my second choice in
Kentucky has better customer service than my previous one -- that was TWO
HORRIBLE experiences.

And, I guess you see how much good this forum does -- They don't answer
because they CAN"T figure it out. When they do answer they will tell us to
do the same things we have already done (turn on off -- reset watch -- turn
bluetooth on-off - uninstall app -- reinstallapp) -- WE'VE already done
that!! Now what ya got?
