Versa not syncing correctly.

I have tried everything to sync the time change to my watch but nothing worked. Eventually I reset it to factory settings and now I cannot sync with the app on my phone at all. The watch asks me to download the app when I already have the app. I would not like to uninstall it as I will lose all my data  so I tried downloading it on another device. But to no avail. It will not sync to any of my devices as everytime I download the app the old one on my other device loads. I cannot download a fresh app of fitbit. What can I do? Help!

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. Tell me, are you using an iPhone or an Android phone? Note that the data you sync to the Fitbit app gets stored in our servers and not the phone itself, so if you delete the app the information won't get lost, however keep in mind that your Versa can only store up to 7 days of detailed information so when you sync, if you haven't synced in a while some of the data might get lost. 

 

With that said, I would like to ask you for the exact list of troubleshooting steps you've tried so far. This will be very helpful for us to check this further. Additionally, please reply with the following information:

 

  1. Phone model you're using. 
  2. App version installed in your phone (go to the app > Account > Help to get it)
  3. Versa version (tap on the Versa icon in the app Dashboard to get it)

Well it is syncing but since I changed my phone to a Huawei smart phone, when the time changed to summer time my fitbit versa did not change. But when I had a Samsung it had changed. I tried everything to try and make it change I even reset my watch to factory setting and then it took me a while to reconnect with my phone as I did not know how to do it. But then I figured it out by adding another device to the app. But my fitbit versa is still on winter time. But it syncs everything else. Hope you can resolve this problem for me.
