I'm at my wits end trying to get my fitbit to upload my runs and activities (i.e. spin and cardio classes) automatically to Strava and i have no idea where to go with it now. I have deleted the accounts, set them back up, they are both showing as connected. I have also also ensured that the share information boxes are ticked upon set up! My versa syncs fine with my fitbit app!
When going for a run my watch states 'connecting' and rarely connects and when it does it drops straight back to not connected whilst the fitbit app on my phone will state it is connected! Also I can't get the watch to connect to my Mac.
So far not at all impressed! Looking for any suggestions to help please soon otherwise I'm just going to have to return the watch!

A warm welcome to the Community @LeahD11.
Thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself. If you have already tried the instructions provided in this post and if your Versa is syncing properly with your Fitbit account, this might be an issue directly with Strava. Have you contacted their support team? If you haven't, I recommend doing it.
Keep me posted. ![]()

Thank you. Yes I have and it does not make a difference. I will contact their support team however are you able to address my other issue regarding the GPS connection issue between my watch and phone please? It takes a long time to connect and then drops off less than a minute later after starting the 'run' function (even when I do it sat on the sofa so its not a case of a bad signal as my phone shows full GPS on the fitbit app).

It will be my pleasure @LeahD11.
Have you checked if your phone is compatible? If you haven't, you can check it here. When a phone isn't compatible, it doesn't mean that it won't work with your Fitbit, but you can experience some connectivity issues.
You can always try the instructions provided in the help article Why isn't GPS working on my Fitbit device?.

Hi, yes I have an iPhone 6s so it's compatible and I did see that article on GPS and can confirm that all is activated as it should be in order to work. Could it be a hardware issue?

Hello,
This issue is still open and Strava have confirmed it is a Fitbit issue not theirs!
Also you have not responded with regards to my query about GPS connection taking so long to connect either.

Hey @Buzzerbee, it's great to welcome you.
If you are having issues syncing your information with Strava, I recommend taking a look at this post and follow the instructions provide there. If your watch is syncing properly with your Fitbit account, that means that everything from us is working properly and that you should contact Strava customer service directly.
Let me know the outcome.

Did you ever get this figured out? I can't get my activities to show up on Strava, and there doesn't appear to be any solution. I did ALL troubleshooting tips, plus contacted Strava who told me to contact Fitbit. Just going in circles here, with no end in sight. 😣

I am also having the same issue. Fitbit recorded my MTB ride on Sunday but would not sync with Strava. I've done all the troubleshooting techniques I can find and still no luck. Disconnecting/ reconnecting accts etc. If anyone figures this out please share!

I have not been able to sync to Strava since May 2.
Deauthorized and authorized a couple of times, no sync yet.

Yes, it started working about two weeks ago.
I believe FitBit may have corrected the issue. It's been working fine since.

I experienced the same as HallB32. A couple days later my activities suddenly appeared, and I haven't had an issue since. Unfortunately, I didn't do anything myself to fix it that I know of, so I can't help anyone solve the issue other than to say, maybe give it a few days? It sure was frustrating in the meantime, though! Ahh, technology! 😉
