My Fitbit versa is not tracking any floors. I have reset it, shut it off, repaired it, everything. I’ve had it for 2 days. Any ideas?

Hi there @Squeezie13, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa stopped tracking your floors, I understand where your concern is coming from. Thanks for already trying to fix the issue prior to posting here, I'll be glad to continue helping you.

Regarding your Versa not tracking floors, keep in mind that it tracks floors by measuring changes in air pressure through a small hole in the back of the Versa. If this hole becomes blocked then it can cause this problem.

With that being said, please try cleaning it with by following these steps: How do I clean my Fitbit device?

Don't forget that Fitbit devices that count floors have a small hole (altimeter sensor) on the back of the device so please don’t insert any items, such as paper clips, into this hole as you can damage your device.

Let me know how it goes.

I tried cleaning it, although I shouldn’t have had to since I literally just got it. It is still not recording flights of stairs. What are the next steps?

Hi my replacement for my fitbit i had for about 11 months or so is not tracking the floors yesterday i went up 7 times up my stairs & it recorded 5 today i went up once & it didn’t track that it shows 0 floors & before that it wasn’t updating information to the app. This is ridiculous this “Refurbished Fitbit” which fitbit can’t tell me if it’s “refurbished” Well this fitbit replacement i got already have problems & i cleaned it but still nothing.
