My versa battery has been slowly dying these last couple of months and I have tried every troubleshooting form and every article and has just slowly been getting worse and worse. last night I had it completely charged went to put it on my wrist and it just wouldn’t turn on It just went to a gray screen for two seconds and then shut off. Now nothing I do will turn it on please help

I was having a similar issue with my new Versa and found this article on how to re-start the device; it was referenced in post about sync problems:

I ended up doing a factory reset yesterday, but a "re-start" sounds a lot easier than what I did. I hope this helps you!

Sorry; I don't know what else to suggest - hoping that someone from Fitbit support sees your post and will have better info than I.
(I was able to get my Versa to turn on long enough to go through the factory reset and that fixed everything but the sleep and exercise tracking display on the device itself - it still won't display those two stats and never has.)

Hi. My Versa died completely a couple of months after I posted to this thread. I went through the online chat with Customer Service, did a little trouble-shooting with them, and they ended up sending me a replacement.
Unfortunately, the replacement stopped syncing about a week after I received it and when I tried to do a factory reset, it completely died - just like the other one.
I went back to my Charge 2, but now IT is refusing to sync. <sigh> I can't seem to win! 😞
