I have had my Fitbit for exactly 2 years and I let it die, and now it won’t turn on while on charger.

Hi, @iraangiebarker , sometimes when a Fitbit’s battery is allowed to die completely it can become unresponsive.  Try holding the button for an extra long time - 20 seconds or more.  Hopefully that will bring it back to life.
