Versa not updating steps

Hello! My fitbit counts steps but does not refresh in the app or on my watch unless I hold down the 2 side buttons for a few seconds to refresh the home screen.  I've update the app and restarted the watch several times as well but still no fix. Wonder what's going on?

My versa is not resetting steps or counting steps when watch is not in use I have restarted numerous times didn't fix the problem I have also checked that time zone is correct. How do I correct the problem? first time fitbit user wondering if I made a mistake.
