Versa notifications and WiFi issues

The Fitbit app on my iPhone shows that my Fitbit Versa is connected to the iPhone. And the settings on the Fitbit app show that I've set it up to connect to my email and phone calls.

But I get no notifications. The WiFi setup also says it can't find my WiFi router even though the phone is three inches from the router and ever other device in my house that uses WiFi is connected to the router. Any suggestions?

What speed router do you have? Fitbit devices only connect to 2.4Ghz and not 5Ghz.

how do you find this out?:

@alana025 First check the router box to see if there is any plate or sticker with information. Then check whatever (limited) paperwork came with the router. Finally if you still can't find the info there then go to the manufacturer's website and try to locate the manual for the router. One possible quick way without going to the manufacturer's site is to type in the manufacturer's name, router model number and 'manual' in a search engine. For example: 'Motorola MG7540 manual'.  Let me know what you find.

@alana025 One other possible quick way is to type in the manufacturer and model number in Amazon and then read through the technical information for the router speed.
