Does anyone have a resolution for this?  I’ve gone back and forth with support for 10 months and they not only can’t offer a fix, but also won’t replace the watch.  This isn’t a minor issue at all and I have to reset the watch daily to get notifications back.   As someone else mentioned, this all started after the latest software update.  It just outrageous they are basically saying that they can’t do anything about it.

Hello,  me too!  I just recently got the Fitbit Versa 2 - and did the ios 13 update and I having the same issue.

My notifications - come through and some don't at all.  They disappear before I can even look at them.

I restarted, reset, reinstalled, forgot Bluetooth settings etc....nothing.

Also, my Alexa keeps on signing me out - so annoying!

Same issue on an iPhone XS Max with iOS 13.1.1. While the pairing/unpairing steps above didn't work for me, a good ol' device restart (watch) and a bluetooth switch off/on on the phone seems to fix it. Only until it breaks again though.

OMG... I'm going to lose my soul. I constantly have to restart my phone to get notifications to come through my fitbit Versa. It's only a week old. I have done everything that I had to do to correct this problem  I have a Samsung s8

The only way to get around this is by clearing the storage by going into the app settings on the phone. This is very frustrating. I hope they fix this bug. This is highly annoying. It's been two days since I bought the device and I have had to clear the app data storage on my phone twice.

Please advise why I have to reset the notification setting to receive messages on my Fitbit versa every day?  It seems that when I charge the Fitbit it is losing all the settings.  This is very frustrating.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Gabi

I have to reset a few times each day toget notifications. Really not liking Fitbit anymore as this is beyond frustrating. I’ve had Fitbits for at least 6 plus years and same issue on every model.

I ended up contacting fitbit and they sent me a new one.

I had this problem with my first versa, but as it was under warranty, it was recently replaced. I also could not get it to sync properly. Unfortunately the replacement one is having the same problems and requesting I restart my phone to get notifications.

How many times a day are we reasonably expected to do this until we accept it just doesn't work very well?

The only thing I've found that fixes this is to uninstall and reinstall the app on your phonr. Then it hooks up fine and displays notifications. But you shouldnt have to do that 3 times a day. Fitbit need to fix this crap.

That's exactly what I have to do most days and it's beyond frustrating. I'm missing important messages and calls .

I’m having the same issue. I have an iPhone and Versa 2. Notifications will work fine for a day or so then randomly stop coming through. To fix it, I go to my phone Bluetooth settings and “forget device”, wait a minute, and then reconnect it. Go into the Fitbit app and pair/allow notifications. Then it will work for a day or so again but randomly drop out. It’s incredibly annoying. I’ve started doing this every morning just to make sure it’s connected for the day but today it dropped out midway through the day, even after reconnecting in the morning.
Previously I had a charge 2 and never had any issue with notifications randomly dropping out. Incredibly frustrating to upgrade to the versa only to have more problems that costed more money.

Did you ever get a fix? I am getting annoyed and do not want to go the Apple route. But what with poor notifications and Fitpay being a joke in the UK I may just have to bite the bullet and switch to the dreaded iPhone and their tracker.

No fix and no one from Fitbit ever got back to me. So I went with the
Huawei GT2e. Fantastic watch w heart rate, stress and SPO2 and guess what?
The battery lasts for days on end and it never disconnects. It does have
music storage too. Much the same as the Versa 2 and 3 yet way better and
costs far less. And the app doesn't take over your phone. I hope this helps.

I have the same issue with the versa 3.  I have reset both my phone and fitbit. this watch is sold as being able to receive calls and notifications when it can't and discounts all the time.
