I have followed all instructions uninstaller fit bit re installed the notification and syncing works for a few hours then stops and tells me I need to restart my phone. I restart my phone and same thing happens

What phone are you using? It could be a compatability issue.
Try restarting your Versa several times and letus know if that helps.

Hi
I have the Huawei Mate 20 pro, i have done the following
* factory reset my versa and reinstalled on the phone which worked for a day
* restarted the tracker
* deleted the Fitbit app off the phone and reinstalled etc
i had it working last night then it un sync'd again today and I had to resync it again, its getting very fustrating

Hey @KellieCollins, it is great to see you around more often! I appreciate the time you have taken to fix this issue with your Versa and your Huawei P20 Pro, since your watch isn't getting notifications. As you can see here on the compatible devices link, this phone model isn't there, which means that it is not guaranteed that you can take advantage of all the features like notifications, syncing or GPS. If it worked before, it could maybe 'cause this phone still under testing, but this is something that I can't also guarantee.

I'm having similar issues with notifications stop working. I restart the watch, and it starts working again. I probably do this about once a day. I have a Moto G5s Plus

Hey @NathanLB, it is great to see new faces around! I appreciate you keep restarting your watch to get notifications from your Moto G5 Plus. I'm afraid that, since this phone model isn't a compatible phone to work with Fitbit devices, you can experience connectivity issues. It could work sometimes, and this is because it might be under testing, but until it hasn't full released, you'll continue experience these issues. However, you can take a look at the troubleshooting in this help article: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone, they can help you out. 😉

I have a Samsung S8 which is a compatible phone. Notifications have always been a bit of a trouble. Several times a day I have to restart my phone & tracker or turn bluetooth on and off. About a week ago notifications just quit completely. Nothing I do makes a difference. The phone app still syncs with the Versa so I can view my stats, obviously the two are communicating. To my knowledge neither device has experienced an update or software change. I have read through all the help topics and can't find anything that works. Anyone else have this problem and hopefully a solution?

I have an iPhone 6 which is compatible however I also encounter the same problem. I spent 2 and half hours last week trying to sync my phone. Today it stopped receiving notifications, noticed that it hadn't synced for 2 days even though its on all day sync. I turned off all notifications, reset my versa by holding the left button and the bottom right button, turned off my phone and turned on all notifications for it to start working again....thankfully it didn't take too long. but the question is...for how long?

@ewalk30, as you mentioned, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is a compatible device, so you should not be experiencing any inconvenience with it and your Versa. Let me ask you this, is the Fitbit app updated? If not, please do it.
@Gigi93, welcome to the Community! No my friend, we have not received any updates about when the Moto Guzzi 5S Plus will be a compatible device. Stay tune on that article. 😉
@SunsetRunner, your phone is compatible too. So let me ask you this, could you please also review that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app, and verify if it is updated?
