Hi there, 

 

WhatsApp notifications do not appear on my fitbit versa. I have iPhone 7 and the rest of the notifications work fine. I have turned on the notifications for WhatsApp on Fitbit app but nothing comes through.

Hi, Whatsapp notifications and iPhone seem to be troublesome. Did you read this article? It's all about problems with notifications. Besides that Whatsapp for Android and for iPhone have a different behaviour.

Hi @SunsetRunner, I’ve read this article many times and I have followed the steps but it didn’t work. I was with a friend who has Fitbit Versa and she has iPhoneX and her notifications worked perfectly fine. We both have the latest iOS version. Any other suggestions? Thanks 🙂

Hi, as promised my attempt to help you with your Whatsapp notifications. First of all, I do not have an iPhone, but an Android Device. Despite that, I will describe to you how I managed to get Whatsapp on my Versa:

1. Within the Fitbit app, go to Notifications.

2. Click on it and you will see a list of all possible notifications

3. Press on App notifications and you will get a list of available apps

4. Scroll down untill you find Whatsapp and enable it

5. If you also want a quick reply for your Whatsapp, go back and

6. Press Quick Replies, scroll down to Whatsapp and choose the kind of reply that suits you the best.

This is how I have done it and it works without any problems. As I told you, do not know if the same accounts for an iPhone, hope so. Good luck.

Very sorry to read this, unfortunately I'm out of options now. Hope someone else, preferably with an iPhone can help you. 

 

Hi did a little research about Whatsapp notifications and maybe this helps: Choose Whatsapp as your Text Notification, instead of SMS. Saw that in a youtube video and it worked fine!!
