Versa overheating

I put my Versa on charge overnight and this morning when I went to take it off charge it was very hot and now it seems to have died!! I took it off charge straight away and it has since cooled down, but still won't come back to life on or off the charger. Can anyone help? Is this a known issue?

Was there fogging/humidity visible on the back (where the sensors are) when you took it off the charger and it was scorching hot? If you didn't look, grab an ice cube and put it on top of the sensors for a few seconds, then see if there is condensation inside the device. Many Versas overheat when charging and die because water got in and shorted the battery.
