Versa push notifications (Troubleshoot)

Hi everyone,

 

I found a work around with push notifications not working with Versa on Android devices and the Fitbit app just tells to restart the phone.

 

  • Go to your settings and force close the Fitbit app.
  • Then go to storage and delete all cache and app data of Fitbit. Make sure u delete app data.
  • Now start the Fitbit app. You will have to pair your Fitbit again and set it up like a new device. The setup will take 4-5 mins now as only pairing is required and the notifications works once the setup is complete.
  • However, if your Versa gets disconnected from your phone for example due to a phone restart or Bluetooth range issues then u have to delete app data and pair it again like a new device.

 

Hope team Fitbit works on this issue. For now this is the only work around we have. Good luck. Let me know if you have any better work around. Enjoy!
