This is the 3rd fitbit product I've had. I've never had this problem before. I walk each morning for 3.3-3.5 miles. I'm short, so my step count ranges from 8500-8900, I know they won't be exactly the same every day. But with my Versa, after I've walked and seen steps in that range (I've taken pictures) only to look at my step count this morning drop drastically, sometimes 2000 steps. This is very discouraging. I thought it had to do with the exercise app (because it was detecting exercise 1 mile in), so I turned that off. But it continues to do this. Please help me. There is no point to track my steps when my Versa is arbitrarily deciding how many steps I should have been taking.

I was playing around and ended up deleting today's "exercise" log (after you tap on the hexagon) - I thought I had this turned off. Once I deleted the log of today's walk (they had it as a run), I got my steps back. There has to be a way for a. the exercise allows my actual steps or b. a way to actually turn off that exercise recorder so i don't have to delete it every day.
