Versa step count inaccurate

This versa is driving me up the wall! Had an Alta HR previously - averaged 7500 daily. Not this week the versa is calculating im only doing less than 3k steps daily which is very inaccurate! Plus no vibration for txt or calls now. Its been reset x 2 so im at a loss what to try next!

@Rennithfer By reset you mean factory reset or reboot (pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo flashes)? Whats your phone model and OS? Whats your Versa firmware version and Fitbit app version?

I have done s hard reset snd have a samsung s9+ with 8.0.0 android software.

@Rennithfer Does your Versa sync without issues? Also, could you please check your Wrist Placement setting in Fitbit app? Make sure it's set to non-dominant. Just to check step accuracy, try walking in a straight line counting steps and compare it with the number displayed on your Versa.
