So today my Versa stopped recording most of the information, up to an hour ago it had recorded my steps and mileage but that was in, no sleep data, no active time, no calories burnt....😡
‘I contacted the online support team who advised me to factory reset the blasted thing which I did, she confirmed that as of 18:00 hrs I had logged 10,200 steps, so I stupidly followed her instructions and did the factory reset (tried 3 shutdowns prior to this) I was the notified on the app that the versa needed updating so clicked on the update (as advised by the Fitbit chat support person) jeez what a palaver took 60minutes to update and guess what it has completely wiped ALL my synced data, something I was assured would not happen, really annoyed by this what is going on with Fitbit and the moment, can I manually add in my data, please help.

@JayneC If the data was really synced, you would be able to see it. Double check on the Dashboard on the Fitbit.com that the data is really missing. If you know the number of steps and calories, you can manually log the step-based exercise (i.e. walking) for the time period that you accumulated the steps. While logging you will need to input the mileage (multiply your steps count by your walking stride length - you can find it under Account Settings>Advanced>Stride length) - in your case that would be 10200 steps multiplied by your walking stride length for the time period between midnight and 18. It would be good if you inputted the calories as well.

Thanks for this have tried to manually log but it doesn’t allow me to add in the steps, mileage or calories, really confused and really annoyed, if I hadn’t reset the data would still be there 😡😡

@JayneC You need to log it in the Fitbit mobile app. Open the app, tap the exercise tile, tap the stopper icon in the top right corner, select the log previous tab. Enter the details of your exercise.
