Versa stopped syncing to strava

I went for a run last night and my Fitbit has still not synced the run to strava. I have tried everything, logging out of both and in, checked all authorisation settings etc but nothing has worked. Is there an issue?

First @Dhall003 was your run last night recorded with gps and you see tgetmap. If not. it will not be sent over. 

 

just a note your Versa does not sync to strava. Your Fitbit account is connected to Strava

Yes I have the map. I have done another run which has synced but the other
is still not there yet

I appreciate all the efforts in trying to fix this issue. If your Fitbit account isn't syncing with your Strava account, I recommend taking a look at this post and follow the instructions provide there.

 

If the issue persists, but your Versa is syncing properly with your Fitbit account, contact directly Strava support.

Fixed yet by any chance Dhall? I had same issue as you around the same time. Tried everything and has never synced again since. From a great device (Versa) to a very crap device if this doesn’t sync

@Shanman1 please remember that no Fitbit tracker will sync with Strava, it is not the trackers fault. 

 

This sync is strickly between your Fitbit account and your Strava account.

Thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself, I would like to know if you keep having issues syncing your Fitbit account with your Strava account? Have you tried the instructions provided in my previous post? If you haven't, please follow those steps.

Thanks for the responses to these threads. I'm a bit shocked actually, but it's all syncing and working again!! (for my last 3 syncs over last 3 days anyway). 

 

How did it get fixed? I know it's sort of the usual troubleshooting steps, updated both apps (Fitbit and Strava), unsynced both of them from each other, and re-synced it. Sounds simple enough, but I am SURE I tried this 2-3 times before and it DIDN'T fix it. I would suggest one thing I did differently this time, was I synced it back from the laptop computer (not within the mobile apps).

 

So if others have been frustratingly going through this fitbit versa not syncing to strava and have tried everything disconnecting the apps and back again, I'd suggest maybe try doing it from the desktop as opposed to the mobile.

 

Hope it stays working...
