Versa stopped tracking Sleep Score

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have a Versa and had been getting a sleep score daily for months.  Suddenly, the last sleep score I received was almost two weeks ago.  Nothing has changed.  I've read through trouble shooting including logging off and on, checking bluetooth, notifications, etc.  I see no place to "select" sleep score.  I never selected it to begin with, instead it just appeared and therefore I didn't turn it off and thus it disappeared just as mysteriously.  My iPhone is updated with 13.3. I thoroughly enjoyed the sleep score ALONG with all of the other sleep information.  I'm desperate to find something that works.  Any suggestions?

Hello there @EKA, welcome to the Community Forums. I apologize for the late response. I'm sorry to hear that you're going through this situation. I appreciate you've taken the time to troubleshoot this situation prior to contacting us.

While reading your post I was wondering if you've checked that the heart rate on your Versa is On? Something very similar happened to me 3 days ago. But I found out that the firmware update had apparently shut off the heart rate setting on my Fitbit. After having reset it to 'on', the heart rate monitoring came on again. As you know, sleep stages are based on your heart rate data and keep in mind that you must see sleep stages in order to see your sleep score information. So, open the Settings app and find Heart Rate. Make sure Heart Rate is On. 😉

Give this a go and let me know if you start receiving your sleep score again.

I'm having the exact same issue. I have an Android, so my issues won't be related to any compatibility problems. It has been over a week since I have gotten a sleep score, and it's tracking my heart rate just fine. I searched through the forums for similar issues and have made the suggested changes in terms of positioning and connectivity. None of it has helped.

Hello there @pdon, thanks for stopping by. Thanks for the details provided and for taking the time to troubleshoot this prior to commenting here.

Keep in mind that you must see sleep stages in order to see your sleep score information. Please swipe left on the Sleep Score graph, here you can see information about your weekly sleep average and sleep duration. To get more detailed information, see: What's sleep score in the Fitbit app?

If you are not receiving sleep stages, I recommend considering the following:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

Note that we are aware of Sleep Score may take longer than usual to appear in the app. We’re currently working to resolve it and hope to have a fix soon. Be sure to keep your Fitbit device and app up-to-date to ensure you receive the quickest resolution.

I'll be around if you need further assistance.
