I am having the same issues. I have had mine for a month and have had to restore to factory settings to get it to work. It will Work for a couple of days and then revert back to not transferring information or giving notifications.

According to the Fitbit app, how long ago did the last sync occured @amandalanyon
For help with a sync problem, it is extremely helpful to know the type of phone that the problem is with.

I seem to be having almost the same issue, my versa has been syncing no problem up until this afternoon. For some reason it now appears to be offline and not connected to the app anymore. I am using the app in my I phone 6s plus.

I got mine 3 weeks ago, and have had nothing but issues with the syncing. I have a Samsung S8. There are a couple of ways that I get it to work again, but I usually have to repeat the steps a couple times a day when I notice it not syncing to my phone again.
1. Go into the fitbit app, click on the Versa icon to go to the Versa settings. scroll all the way down. Toggle Always connected and Keep-Alive Widget off.
2. Open the phone settings, go to Apps, find Fitbit, Force Close the app.
3. Open the Fitbit app again go back to the Versa settings, toggle on Always Connected and Keep-Alive.
Usually this works. Otherwise, restarting my phone usually works.
You can also try power cycling your Versa by holding the left button and the bottom right button for a few seconds and letting go when the Fitbit icon is displayed.
Otherwise, FITBIT FIX YOUR APP SO IT SYNCS PROPERLY!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

@Afia69 and @Godling I suggest a restart of the tracker first. followed by a restart of the phone .Whichever works. try that step first next time .
@Godling since you have the same phone as mine.
The steps I take first restart tracker, this usually works
If not I swipe unneeded apps out of memory.
Restart the phone
If I'm still not able to sync, I open the phones settings. apps, Fitbit, clear cache.
If it still doesn't sync I will kill the Fitbit app.
Seldom do I have to go past step two.
One more thing,, if your on WiFi try cellular.

I had similar issue. Versa synchronised when I started charging it. Maybe this will help you too.

My phone was syncing fine through Sunday 5/28/2018, 10:10 PM. It hasn't synced since. When I check the bluetooth settings on my I phone 6S plus, tie Versa will connect and disconnect, and then repeat, repeat, repeat. Please tell me there is another suggestion other than factory reset and reload watch again!! That suggestions is getting really old, really fast.

I have had the same issue since this morning. The Versa on the Bluetooth keeps changing from connected to disconnected and keeps repeating that .. my Versa won’t sync at all.

Hello all, I hope you are doing fine.
Thanks for troubleshooting this syncing issue by yourselves. If you keep having issues with your watches, I recommend taking a look at the help article Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and follow the instructions provided there. When a Fitbit is 100% connect with your phone, on your Dashboard you will see a green icon up to the unit's image.
I hope this helps, let me know the outcome.

I am just now getting my versa and I am trying to set it up (after 10+ restarts and resets) and it told us to give it about 30 minutes to download the update and it is solidly still trying to update after an hour and a half and counting. This is absolutely ridiculous and with all the technology that is in these watches, you would think they would've fixed this by now.
