Versa taking too long to sync (iOS device)

Does anyone know if syncing on the Versa will be faster for iOS users? I heard it's pretty fast for Androids but it takes forever for it to sync with my iPad. I feel like Fitbit favors Android users more than iOS because of the Apple Watch ... It took around 5-6 minutes yesterday for me to sync my Fitbit and that's way too long:)

Hi @sarah_lin8,

It's hard to say. We may have to wait for someone who has a Versa, an android and apple phone to test your question.

Interesting, because sometimes I feel the Apple folks have the advantage because the hardware and operating system are so consistent compared to Android. So, maybe the grass is always greener on the other side, as the saying goes?

I'm pretty certain Fitbit is just as dedicated to providing a good app for iOS users as it is for Android users. AW might be a competitor, but iOS users are part of the Fitbit family too. If you look at both the Android and iOS forums here, they seem get a similar amount of activity. 🙂

I've been having issues on my Android with sync. All-day sync is turned on but it isn't syncing at regular intervals like my other Fitbits have. Sometimes it takes a really long time for it to sync after I press the button. Hope someone can help us both with this.

I have had several Fitbit's and have just received my Versa. I can say for mine its the fastest sync I have seen. Very impressed. iPhone 8 here

I have the same problem. Have. Samsung phone and have settings on Fitbit to sync all day. It only does it maybe 2-3 times a day and seems to never do it when I "push the button" for it to... Case in point, it's been churning for about 10 minutes now and has used 5% battery!

any ideas on getting it to sync on demand? Or at least occasionally? Mine is set to "sync all day".. It has been 18+ hours and I can't get it to do it! I think I am about done with Fitbits.. This is my 3rd one, but too many issues with them..
