i recently bought a fitbit versa and i notice the distance is way off. i walk using my iPod, which i set up to track my walking steps (i mainly use it for music but since it has the feature, i set it up anyway..old habit) and my iPod says one distance while my fitbit says something else. for example, today: iPod distance 5.26 miles. fitbit distance 4.68 miles.
while maybe the issue is the iPod, i have calibrated the iPod and i have verified the distance with my old fitbit (charge) and iPod/Charge was pretty similar. the versa however has a major difference. also, the versa log for distance on the watch itself, but its not actually logging it. under 'exercise' it simply has the bpm ave logged while the distance says --. i wish i could screenshot it to show you.
i just bought this versa 2 weeks ago and so far, it doesnt even sync properly. i have to refresh the phone app maybe 6 times for it to locate the fitbit. then i have to refresh again so it gives me all the details for the day. i never had this problem with the charge. i would appreciate any feedback on the distance accuracy and also the sync issue. not sure if i have to return this versa, maybe its defective, or if the app/watch sync features arent working well.

However, regarding the inaccurate distance readings that your Versa is tracking, I would like to follow up and would like to know if the issue persists or if it got resolved. I'd like you to check out this help article, which explains how your Fitbit Versa calculate your distance. Also, restart your watch as described in this help article. Finally, visit this help page that explains how to track your workouts with your Fitbit device. Monitor your watch for the next 24 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.

I am still having issues with it logging stuff accurately. I have called customer support and they instructed me to: disable and enable bluetooth, restart fitbit, remove and reinstall fitbit app.
Done all that and still, it logs a few things and not others. For example today, it logged just about everything except the workout. As you can see from image, its just blank. But if i click on it, it shows my workout today. If i look at the watch, it also shows it. But for some reason it is not showing on the dashboard. The water, it wont sync at all. I add it on the app, it doesnt sync to the watch; and vice versa. The app and watch seem to not sync properly to log my stats properly daily.

Hi my versa is doing the same I do a walk and I clocked it in my car and it’s exactly 3.9 miles, the first day it said I did 3.93 km and today it said I only walked 4.25 km.... it’s a wee bit frustrating when you trying to track your distance
