I'm ashamed to admit this, but my Versa has spent the last week on a charger...the week before dead. However, I just received my weekly email & it states that I walked 214,523 steps this week & 206,657 last week. How is that possible?

Welcome to the forums!

Is the Fitbit near a vibration source like a fan, dehumidifier, or even a computer CPU? It can see the vibration as steps and add false steps.

You can enter a driving record to get rid of them

Hello @LFactor14, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. It's nice to see you too @WendyB, thanks for all your help. Smiley Happy

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. Adding to what @WendyB mentioned, please make sure your Versa has been updated to the latest firmware update. We have received reports from many users that after updating the firmware on their Versa devices, the issue has been resolved.

To check if your Versa needs an update, simply open the Fitbit app and tap on Account. If an update is needed, you will be able to see a pink arrow next to your Versa.

I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else we can do for you, please feel free to reply.

Having to manually enter driving into my fitbit app is ridiculous and extremely inconvenient. I'm seriously annoyed with this issue (which didn't happen on my old charge 2 but now it does on my new one). How is there no fix for this in the app? Insane.
