Versa unlock with your phone

I haven't use and charge my Versa for quite a while. When I charged it and turned it on, it said "Unlock with your phone". I googled and followed the steps to unlock it. But the problem is somehow my Fitbit app on the phone were not connected with my Versa. So I tried to connect Fitbit app with my versa, but they asked to type for a 4 digits code show on the versa, but the versa would buzz but would not show the code for me to type in the app. What should I do?

This is a problem. The "unlock with phone" message comes up after 10 incorrect PIN numbers are entered. As long as the fitbit is still connected to your account / app it's a simple matter to reset but when it is no longer connected it needs a factory reset and to be set up again. The problem with this is that you can't get to the settings to do a factory reset as it's locked!

 

There is a way to do a factory reset using just the buttons but it's undocumented, complicated, and prone to problems. Therefore, my advice would be to get customer support to talk you through the process. You can get them via contact.fitbit.com
