Hey all. I was wondering if anyone used to have a Charge 3 and upgraded to the Versa. What were the pros and cons?
Lately, my Charge 3 has been a mess. It stops syncing randomly, won't update, won't send me notifications, I can't wear it in water because I've already had to replace it once for water damage (when I was wading in a 3 ft pool). I'm honestly kind of at my wits end with my Charge 3 since I've only had it for just over a year (13 months) and it only seems to work like 50% of the time the way its supposed to. I'm contemplating sending it back again and getting a discount for a Versa, but I wanted to hear some first hand experiences with Versa first. Thanks!

I can't speak to the issues you are having, but the Versas screen is much more visible with big variety of clock faces available, and more data can be seen on bigger screen main clock face.
I would be lost without being able to see day of week and date right there on my wrist.

I own both. I wish Fitbit would fix the issue where I can't have both on my account, because they are 2 very different experiences ... both good. I upgraded to the Versa 2 in November and it is probably the nicest Fitbit the company has made so far. Beautiful bright color screen. Huge selection of Clock Faces. Apps no where near what you would find for the Apple Watch, but still some very usable apps that enhance the experience. Just realize it is a bigger watch than the Charge 3. I really really like the elegant highend sharp looking form of the Charge 3. I have to say I prefer the Charge 3 Band style to the bigger square style of the Versa, BUT they are 2 completely different experiences. Charge 3 has seems to have been ignored by Fitbit since it was released. Lots of things that could be improved but never have been (screen timeout adjustments, rearranging the tiles or deleting them, brightness outside, a weird issue with dim screen that they have said is a top priority to fix for the passed 8 months or so but nothing has been done. etc). If Fitbit were to make a Charge 4 with a vibrant screen like the Versa 2, I'd buy it in a heartbeat and stop using my Versa 2 (until Fitbit/Google fixes the multiple trackers on 1 account problem), then I'd switch back and forth depending on where I was wearing it. Right now I wouldn't purchase another Charge 3, because like I said above, I see no indication that Fitbit has any interest in it. It was a great watch that they dropped quickly to put all their eggs in the Versa line. A shame. So between the 2, the Versa is the better experience, but just realize it is a big watch.
