Versa will not sync to app

I've had the Versa for a few weeks now and Saturday it stopped syncing to my app for some reason. I've tried restarting the Fitbit multiple times and it finally re-synced once more (about 4 hours ago) but I've tried syncing/restarting at least 8 times since without success.

 

Any tips?

What device is the app, that is giving you the problem, is on?

It is on a Google Pixel 2XL.

 

The sync issue has been a little bit more consistent but it still doesn't work every time. I've also noticed that my Weather App doesn't pull data anymore and when I try installing apps or other clockfaces I get an "App Configuration Failed" error message.

Unfortunately that Pixel is not on the Supported devices list , which is probably why you are having inconsistant syncing and problems downloading clock faces etc. Do you have access to a supported device you could use for downloading purposes (like a friends phone, a tablet or laptop?)

I figured Pixel XL in the supported list meant both versions. Does it not?

 

It hasn't synced since Sunday now.

Doing some more research it looks like the Pixel 2 XL really isn't supported. That's incredible and laughable. 

 

Been a huge Fitbit supporter for years but this is beyond stupid. Had a lot of potential but guess I will return it.

You say it hadn't ssnc since Sunday, was it syncing before Sunday?

I don't think on Sunday your phone read that it is not supposed to be able to sync. If a phone was syncing, even if Fitbit hasn't tested it, it should still be able to sync

 

Instead of copy pasting, I suggest this post to look at. 

Please start at the 4th paragraph.

Appreciate the tip however that did not fix it. 

 

Today was the last day to return it so I went ahead and did that. Will look elsewhere than Fitbit for now. Pretty ridiculous.
