Can anyone help? I took my Fitbit off and the battery died. I have now come to charge it and it won't charge, I left it in the dock for 8 hours. The logo comes on when in the dock and I have tried to do factory reset and restart and logo just goes off. Any suggestions?

Do several restarts one after the other. If that doesnt bring it back to life try another factory reset using the buttons. If that doesnt wake it up yoj will need to contact Support (link in my signature)

Restart your tracker

FACTORY RESET USING BUTTONS
On the watch, hold all three buttons for about twelve seconds. This triggers the 2-button hardware reboot after about eight seconds.
- When the Fitbit logo appears, then disappears, release the bottom right button, then continue holding the left and top right buttons until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated.
- This process may take several seconds, and eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays go to Fitbit.com/setup.
- If you fail to release the bottom right button in time, or otherwise don't follow the procedure precisely, the Fitbit logo reappears quickly and boots without factory reset.

If the device turns on, please go back to the Fitbit app and setup your device back to your account with these steps. Make sure your watch is plugged into a wall plug or a computer, next to the router and that there are no other trackers or devices with Bluetooth on nearby when setting up.  Please log into your account, go to account on the upper right corner, there look for "setup a device" and tap on it. Follow the instructions on the screen and let the watch charge for 2 hours.

Welcome to the Forums @Rhiannon1992 and @NellyG thanks for stopping by.

I appreciate the efforts in trying to fix this issue and would like to know if the instructions provided by our friend worked? Are you still having issues charging your watch?

Hope to hear from you soon. Man Happy

Hi! I suggest you contact a chat agent right away. It seems like there's a slew of people here in the forum with the same problem.

Bought mine last June. It died on me just this Aug. It was on 60% and it just died. Tried charging again but it can't get past charging 1%. Once you take it out from the charger, it's just dead.

I've been doing email exchanges with the customer service with me sending videos that I've tried all the troubleshooting there is

- cleaning the back of the versa with a toothbrush and dabbing+drying the pins of the charger with alcohol

- factory reset

- trying to charge it all sorts of ports (laptop, USB and the wall)

For me, they deemed it was the charger's fault. They're currently shipping me a charger replacement. Others were able to get a total new hardware placement. I don't know how they judge but yes, do contact customer service right away because that's going to need a replacement when you've done all the troubleshoots.
